HISTORIA

Pablo Arteaga y su socio, un sacerdote, llamado D. Maximiliano. Desde sus inicios, en el mismo local que permanece ahora y bajo el nombre de Casa Arteaga, se dedican a la comercialización de artículos religiosos. En 1924 fallece Pablo Arteaga y pasa a denominarse Casa Clero. Posteriormente, se transmite en 1972 a la familia Oriol y finalmente pasa a ser adquirida por la familia Molina Salazar (fabricantes de arte sacro) quien es la actual propietaria de esta emblemática empresa madrileña.

Desde hace mas de 125 años se realizan en Santarrufina proyectos tanto de obra nueva como de restauración de todo tipo de artículos religiosos y Objetos Litúrgicos de Orfebrería, Imaginería, Ornamentos, Textiles, etc. y continúan elaborándose, entre otros, distintos elementos, como Vidrieras y Órganos de tubos, con las mismas calidades y procesos de producción que fueron ya empleados desde el S. XVII.

Esta empresa ha obtenido distintos galardones desde diversos Organismos Públicos y Privados, entre los que cabe destacar:

  • Establecimiento Tradicional Madrileño, concedido por La Cámara de Comercio e Industria de Madrid en Diciembre de 1980.
  • Reconocimiento especial de la Cámara Oficial de Comercio e Industria en Junio de 1987.
  • Empresa centenaria, otorgado en el año 2012 por el Ayuntamiento de Madrid.
